Winter Solstice/Lunar Eclipse
Indication: Self Expression
For those who live in fear of meeting up to others expectations and have not learned to live and dream for themselves.
Watching someone else's life instead of living your own is sadly a life lost. Whether you are living vicariously through your spouse or your children or have lost yourself in the constant flow of social media, television shows or video games; you are hiding away from your potential and the world is losing out on the gifts that you came to offer here.
Doing things like going to college to “please” your parents is four years of your life wasted that might have been spent moving you towards your own passion or life dream. There is nothing wrong with wanting to please others, just make sure that it's not at the expense of depleting your own life worth.
A Lunar eclipse occurs when the Earth gets in the way of the Sun and casts a shadow over the Moon leaving her in temporary darkness. Winter Solstice is already the longest night of the year here in the Northern Hemisphere. Tonight is the first total eclipse of the moon on winter solstice since 1638.
The gift of this essence is to help you to separate from your codependency and to step back into your own dreams. She shows you where you have been living through or for someone else, she asks you to stop comparing yourself to others in the trap of needing their validation, she works to cut you free from your addictions to media life and trade them in for an actualized life. Allowing yourself to be obscured in the shadows of others is pretty risk free and may have become comfortable in the past but it's now time to get busy and fulfill your own passion, take on a new challenge, learn, experience and open up. Your inner Sun awaits you. Shine On!
The December 2010 lunar eclipse occurred from 5:27 to 11:06 UTC on December 21 2010, coinciding with the date of the December solstice for the first time since 1638.
