Spiritual Grounding

Indication: Offers sustainable energy and grounding for Healer’s or others whose sensitivities can make them vulnerable to experiences of overwhelm or exhaustion.

Healers and sensitives who have strong spiritual practices or connect empathically to others can sometimes experience trouble grounding and integrating that energy into their physical bodies on a consistent basis. While your spiritual body may be active and vibrant that energy can become disconnected from your physical body in substantially coordinated ways. This can and does drain your physical body. Using the high voltage that is required for spiritual work without adequate grounding and/or robust physical capacities can lead to physical burn out, break down or illness. The trouble is however you may work to keep yourself protected and grounded, life happens and sometimes you can use some help.

When you are well, and standing in your power, you can be authentically clear and a great help to others. Staying grounded is essential for highly sensitive people. Yet as a sensitive you pick up so much information and emotion from the people and environment around you, it can be difficult to stay centered and because you may be absorbing others negativity it can impact your emotional and physical health.

The large green leaves of the rhubarb plant are poisonous while its red stems are sour and usually only enjoyed after cooking with sugar, honey or another sweetener. As a medical herb rhubarb root is used primarily for digestive complaints including constipation, diarrhea, heartburn, stomach pain, gastrointestinal and  (GI) bleeding.

As a flower essence the plant also offers digestive powers as it aids you in assimilating the energies of your life and work, breaking them down into nutrients of wisdom that will strengthen you rather than wear you down. Rhubarb reminds you to pay more attention to your physical body, to eat well, to exercise, to rest, to breathe deeply and to get outside and play. The red color of the stems and the robust growth of the plant in early summer offers an archetype of strength and able bodied presence.

More than this, the essence of rhubarb flower offers a strong new pathway for your sensitivities to grow roots in Mother Earth. Rhubarbs roots are not large nor deep yet they perfectly support the large weighty plant leaves. She does this by wisely knowing how to put out the correct amount of underground growth to balance her overground Spring growth spurts.

As a sensitive your curiosities may direct you into new and exciting realms that enhance your intuitive capacities and aid those you serve. Rhubarb flower essence is the perfect ally to help you to assimilate new information, keep you safe, and maintain clear energy in your work.

This rhubarb plant traveled to America with the ancestors from Germany in the 1840's and since that journey it has relocated to many Midwestern locations, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan. Always thriving, multiplying and rooting in the strength of the Earth in its many new homes. Traditionally used for medicinal as well as culinary purposes, Rhubarb originally came from China first making its way to Europe on a voyage with Marco Polo in 1292. It has been used as both food and medicine for at least 3000 years and is mentioned in the Divine book of herbal medicine written over 2700 years ago in China.
