EMF Balance: Offering EMF Protection, Clarity and Peace

Friday, October 23rd, 2009

Cell phones, computers and high-tension wires contribute to the increasingly prevalent layers of invasive electro-magnetic fields (EMF) in our environment. The technology-produced EMF can disrupt our nervous system and the natural flow of energy within our bodies, and we can find ourselves greatly challenged to adjust and remain balanced. In this modern age filled with electronics, our EMF BalanceTM blend of intuitively selected flower essences helps ground one’s body, offering protection, clarity and peace.

Available as a tincture or as an environmental spray.

An Introduction to Great Lakes Sacred Essences

Friday, October 16th, 2009

Based on source materials from Merri Walters and Martha Hill

Replying “Yes!” to a talking waterfall probably was not on her checklist as she packed for the hike. Forging into the rushing water to make an essence certainly wasn’t.

Rainbow Falls

But that’s what Merri Walters found herself doing one August morning. And this moment marked the beginning of the Great Lakes Sacred Essences project. Today Great Lakes Sacred Essences is an established business that makes, bottles and distributes flower essences. It also teaches classes and gives talks about their use, and serves as an advocate for flower essence makers. That day by the waterfall, however, things were not so settled.

Merri Walters had long been familiar with flower essences. She had practiced as a holistic healer in Ann Arbor, Michigan, for 30 years (more…)

Bypassing the Brain

Thursday, February 26th, 2009

Apply some of the flower essence to the palm of your hand – either dab on some tincture or gently mist on a little  combination-essence spray. Now, your hand will know where to go. Your hand may instinctively know that a particular spot on your body needs some of the essence and reach to apply it there.

This is a way to bypass the brain, to be more intuitive. The mind doesn’t always know where a flower essence is needed.

Try it. You can’t make a “mistake.”

Cool Weather Cloudiness

Friday, January 16th, 2009

This time of year we field questions about the cloudy nature of some of the spray bottles. That “stuff” floating at the top of the liquid comes from essential oils that have congealed in the cold. This only happens with a few of the essential oils we use, and it’s most noticeable in two of the environmental sprays, Open Heart and Miracles, because their mixture of essential oils includes resins.

We’ve stayed away from additives that could better homogenize the oils and water because they would interfere with the sprays’ scent and effectiveness. Warming the bottle, even by rolling it in your hands, and shaking it will help homogenize the essential oils again.
